It starts in one hour

In one hour, I will begin the process I have dreaded and delayed for seven years. I begin my prep for tomorrow’s colonoscopy. I am not worried about the procedure. I am not worried about spending the evening on the toilet. I am worried about nausea and especially, vomiting. I am creating this blog as an inspiration to others like me who have an added layer of dread when it comes to scheduling this potentially life-saving procedure.

I promise that this will be a positive post. There’s enough negativity about the prep already on the internet. I am writing as I go. I can do this, and so can you.
